Rail. Road. Sky. ;)
I miss travelling to other countries. I remember there was a super tiring day when we, one of my sisters, my brother, and I, had a looong train ride, similar to Subway Surf kind of trains and railroads with never-ending graffiti on the walls, until the province-like views of mountains, hills, and fields on our way to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa and went back to Florence before sunset. It was so tiring, but I had to absorb it myself that I was there that very moment and make the most out of it. So after eating dinner, my brother and I looked for the landmarks using our purchased map (Since I lost my phone in Rome airport, realized before we get into the bus that I left it on top of the toilet paper holder in the female’s comfort room cubicle INSIDE the airport—first washroom after getting out of the plane :( A looong story cut short) to see the amazing architecture and sculptures of the wonderful Florenzi. ;) By the “I saw the sign” moment was in Moulin Rouge, where policemen in casual clothes approached, that freaked us out, to warn us not to use our tablets, taking pictures, and the DSLR camera. That was one of the ohmygod moments and one of the bloopers for the entire trip! On minor blooper was when my sister with her luggage didn’t make it into the train like our MRT/LRT here in Manila. :)) Hahaha! I can still picture her face! :)) And the man who tried to open the door or to stop it from closing. Hahaha! :)) It was epic. But amongst all of it, the top 1 major event was really my lost 7” tablet—as big as my face! That black case really fit well on that tissue holder. I appreciated the design at first ‘cause there’s a mini shelf on the upper left part of the right enclosure panel, perfect or the soze of the DSLR, plus a hook for my white bubble jacket. I get somewhat panic-y when going to the restroom ‘cause I take more time than usual people. I even fixed the mini Eiffel Tower soivenir in my KK white polkadotted pink handcarry bag, which I borrowed from my sister. I don’t want to return it with a hole of course! Haha ohwell. Life. Samsung galaxy phones.. Hay :\
Back to the transportation, it is really tiring to ride the plane, short travel trains and inter-city trains, and bus, and walk with a 15-20kg of luggage (thanks to the invention of the 4-wheeled luggage! It really helps but its the same when walking on angled pavements), 7kg hand carry bag, another hand bag, dslr, and layers of autumn-winter clothes! That happened last year during our semestral break. It really is an experience to remember. :) There were times when I remove my jacket for a long period of time for the sake of having a great picture with th place and my clothes. Haha! :)) “Tiis-lamig, tiis-ganda” Normal, zoom focus and blurred, talikod candid, jumpshot, sinakulo, dumi sa paa. Hahaha! :)) With our blocking and sequence for the “photoshoot” segments. Hahaha! :P
I wonder when we will we go back. I miss it. I want to travel more and experience the places and cultures of other people and take great pictures to capture the happy or sad, and adventurous moments in life. ;)
My sister will be with Karen, because Ale went to Canada for the internship, I think. Luna the crazy black and white cat, who played with us and with the red dot laser toy during our stay there, was evicted or transferred to another house. She was really playful, with big eyes and curious mind. Haha! ;) The old type of elevator and toilet flush with lots of tissue stocks and the old school heater. I miss the morning routine, instagram with my tab and skype with mommy. Haha ;) I will definitely go and see the interiors of Alexander.. I mean Antoni Gaudi’ Casa Battlo when and if I get back. I wonder if the amazing Sagrada Familia’s construction will be finished by then. Haha ;)
That’s a part of what we experienced last October-November of 2012. Still thinking if I can post throwback photos of the cathedrals and basilicas. Early to bed, early to rise. One last post in Instagram for tonight (bonding with Redgine Mae with mommy and kuya) ‘cause I am sooo sleepy that I retyped what I remember that was not copied in this blog entry that stopped uploading. Thanks.. Haha ;) (10:41pm turned to 11:19pm) We will leave the house by 4am tomorrow morning for the slubong in UP Sunken Garden, with relatives including Redgine Mae plus Bambam and Precious? for Easter Sunday! ;) I’ll be needing this sleep.
