FLOWER PIC ♥..ü

♥ karen ü

i'm the KAREN with the SMILE ;) at the end. ;)

I love to explore the world and create new ideas, inspire people, and try to make the most out of things. I try to find happiness in life especially when things start to get miserable, stressful, or just plain boring. I love the art of life. Art is my passion. I love to draw ever since I was a little girl. My passion for it never fades and just grows into something wonderful each and everyday. It helped me a lot in my design career and hopefully it will forever. ♥ ü

I also have interest in baking and Italian cooking. ;> I tend to experiment sometimes in creating a dish that I'd love to eat! ;D Haha ;))

I also love adventures! ;D Going to different places and doing new or interesting and fun stuff really makes my day! ;D I love to be with nature through hiking, river trekking, and hopefully will try some extreme sports someday. ;D hehehe ;p ;)

Straining and sorting out pictures. :|

Just thinking of doing it makes me lazy, but I shouldn’t be! I must start and continue what I’ve actually started to finish something, even bit by bit. Nothing will happen if there is no action being done. Haha :P By the way, thanks again friends for my lovely, beautiful, great, awesome and lots of wonderful pictures that captured happy moments we’ve spent with the barkada or college friends this summer 2011 in Anawangin and Capones. :) I hope I’d be able to bring a camera next year! Oh yiz! Haha! :P Fun fun fun! ;)

01.15.10 3-7 High School Barkada dinner @ Sicilian and Frutti Froyo in Petron, Katipunan. ;)

It was another fun get-together with the barkada, although we were on five who made it there-Rachel, Kamae, Karen ;) (me), Golda, and Gela. We had our kwentos about our trips and new experiences in life that were far from what we used to talk about back in high school, which was like: Anong lunch mo? Hahaha :)) We also handed our pasalubongs and the bronze Eiffel tower and the black star lip gloss that’s seen on the pictures on this entry are from Golda, who we missed after her four months stay in Paris to study. Somethings have changed, but we’re still the close friends we were back in the days. New hair, new bike, another debate, driving lessons, long paranoid walks. Now we’re back to reality. Reviewing for the prelims and eating while having a five-hour hair treatment, talking about our careers in life, leaving the teen-agehood, having trips local and abroad (hopefully after we graduate). Haha :P

Love love love. :) There is something good waiting for us in the future amidst all the stress and struggles in life. Have fun studying! And doing plates or group plates! :D Haha :P See you all soon! ;)

Art Gallery of Ontario-Toronto. Frank Gehry vs Cedar Wood

It looks like a wooden version of the glass curved wall of the facade of the Egg in Beijing. Nice. ;)

Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube have all been blocked in China.Google is available in China, but the Chinese government ordered Google to censor search results. This, and an alleged attempt by the government to hack Google’s source code led to Google shutting down its Chinese servers. Google searches can still be performed in China, but they are routed to the company’s Hong Kong servers. Google’s revenues in China have gone down in China since the move. YouTube has been blocked in China since March of 2009. China also blocked Twitter, but Chinese activists still access it and use it to communicate to each other through foreign servers. Facebook has been blocked since July 2009, after ethnic riots in Xinjiang. Since then, Facebook clone websites have been popping up in China, making it much more difficult for Facebook to catch on in China if it is ever allowed back in. New laws in China could make Skype illegal too. (source)

Winter Wonderland. ;)

We’re currently in Beijing, China. It’s our 3rd day today here and so far, we’ve gone to Forbidden City (but not yet the entire compound inside, to “The Egg” or the Theatre, to the Temple of Heaven, to Quianmen Street, and we’ll be going to the Great Wall of China by 8am. There’s no Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, or even multiply, just Friendster (but I don’t check or even update it anymore) and Live Journal (I just tried to open it, haha). I hope it is not very as in freezingly cold there, but it was -9 when we landed last Sunday. K.I got to blow dry and iron my hair and prepare to the max. Haha I shall upload pictures in my Facebook once we got back to Manila on the 3rd. Happy New Year in advance. Happy Chinese New Year on Feb. See you! ;)
